I love wooden toys and they are always my first choice. Wooden toys are great for toddlers for many reasons. They are durable and often allow child to develop their imagination while play as they may not have so many details as plastic toys.

My second choice are handcrafted toys. Many toys I make by myself but I also love to have toys for my daughter that other people made. So  when looking for new toy I search Etsy first. Toys found on Etsy are not mass manufactured but handcrafted, usually made by small family businesses. Therefore I believe they are much safer for my kid.
