If you are looking for some indoor winter activities for your kids you are on the right place. Flannel board stories are always great to spend quality time with your kids and learn.

Flannel board stories – Five Baby Penguins

Materials you need:

Five Baby Penguins Free Template
felt sheets (and felt scraps for small pieces, like beaks and wings)
freezer paper (optional)
hot glue or felt glue
felt board ( DIY felt board )

You will need black and white felt, and some yellow or orange. Download your Five Baby Penguins Free Template, cut pieces and glue them together. There is no specific instructions as this should be clear. Also I did’t provide iceberg pattern because of the same reason. However if you need help, or need iceberg pattern as well, do not hesitate to ask below in comments.
Here is lovely rhyme. Place baby penguins as you sing the rhyme and do the action movements.

Five Baby Penguins

One baby penguin makes a wish
Two baby penguins catch a fish
Three baby penguins slip and slide
Four baby penguins run and hide
Five baby penguins look around, calling “Mamma, Mamma, Mamma!”
And there she is! Now they are found!

My one year old loves them! Enjoy winter and play!
